As a member of our traveling electrician team, you’ll work on diverse electrical projects, make a direct impact for customers, and represent FSG’s core values through quality work and top-tier service.
As a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician you will:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, controls, fixtures, and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plans to execute installations safely and correctly.
Plan electrical layouts and installations to meet specifications and electrical codes.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems on commercial/industrial jobsites.
Mentor and guide Apprentice Electricians when needed.
Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, building codes, and project timelines.
Use company-provided vehicles and tools to travel to jobsites across multiple states.
This role is travel-forward — expect ~75% travel with lodging and per diem support. (Travel originates from Ohio; candidates must be based in Ohio and not relocating from other regions.)
Required Qualifications
Valid Ohio Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
3+ years’ experience (journeyman) or equivalent experience (master).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to travel extensively from an Ohio home base.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a professional attitude.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Experience with commercial/industrial electrical systems.
Prior mentorship or leadership experience.
🎯 Competitive Pay: $30.00–$45.00+/hr DOE
