The Program Chair – Electrical serves as the academic and operational lead for all Electrical programs at Propel Career Academy, including Vocational, Apprenticeship, and Pre-Apprenticeship training pathways. This role is responsible for the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of electrical training programs in alignment with industry standards, licensing bodies, and Propel’s strategic goals.
The Chair will design and oversee a 200-hour Pre-Apprenticeship Program that prepares students for entry into the skilled trades through foundational electrical theory, safety practices, and hands-on skill application. This individual also teaches within the program, ensuring classroom and lab experiences reflect real-world jobsite conditions, professional standards, and safety compliance.
The position reports to the President, with strong collaboration with the Director of Student Success and Development and the Assistant Director of Education to ensure student outcomes, academic progress, and instructional quality.
