Overview

Propel Career Academy is seeking an energetic and strategic Enrollment Recruiter & Community Engagement Coordinator to drive student enrollment and strengthen community relationships through in-person outreach and digital engagement. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about skilled trades education and skilled at using both traditional outreach and social media to connect with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Student Recruitment

  • Recruit prospective students through community events, career fairs, one-on-one outreach and school visits.
  • Engage with young adults who may not be in traditional education pipelines but are seeking workforce entry or career change.
  • Develop and deliver presentations about Propel’s skilled trades programs.
  • Follow up with leads and manage prospective student pipelines through a CRM or enrollment platform.

Community Engagement

  • Build relationships with community organizations, workforce agencies, local employers, and high schools to create a steady recruitment pipeline.
  • Represent the Academy at local events and community forums to promote our mission and programs.
  • Organize open houses, info sessions, and campus tours in collaboration with the admissions team Social Media & Digital Outreach.
  • Create and manage content across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) to support recruitment and engagement goals.
  • Highlight student stories, upcoming classes, graduate outcomes, and events to increase online visibility.
  • Track engagement analytics and adjust content strategies to improve outreach performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing to maintain brand voice and align campaigns with recruitment cycles.

Enrollment & Admissions Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from prospective students and families.
  • Provide accurate information on programs, admissions requirements, and available resources.
  • Guide applicants through the full enrollment process with proactive communication and support.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Partner with instructors and staff to develop recruitment content, such as lab highlights, student testimonials, and career outcomes.
  • Maintain records of outreach efforts, leads, conversions, and social engagement metrics.
  • Report regularly on recruitment activities and make data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment, admissions, community outreach, or social media marketing (education or workforce development preferred).
  • Strong public speaking and writing skills, with a comfort level engaging both online and in person.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for an organization or business, including video creation and content planning.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and CRM/enrollment management systems.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule & Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, with occasional evening and weekend hours for events and digital engagement.
  • Regional travel required for events, school visits, and partnership development.

USD $50,000.00 - USD $60,000.00 /Yr.
