As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions, Facility Solutions Group is expanding their staff and seeking a Project Coordinator, to join the Round Rock, TX team.

 

Job Description

 

As a Project Coordinator, you will support and assist the project team with administrative tasks as well as assist leadership in day to day operations of the department and assigned resources. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, be self-motivated, demonstrate high ownership & helpfulness and be adaptable to the demands of the project. We are seeking a candidate with the potential to grow within our organization and take on select individual account responsibilities.

Responsibilities

As an FSG Smart Buildings Project Coordinator you will:

  • Develop knowledge of client’s expectations and requirements by working with the Project Manager’s on the team to understand customer’s org charts and their typical project timelines.
  • Develop knowledge of FSGs current vendor network and work to add new vendors to the network.
  • Be responsible for Vendor & Customer setup in FSG’s system, currently through GUI/COINS.
  • Create, manage and close project work orders and/or jobs via GUI/COINS.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of project financials.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively status of accounts to internal teams.
  • Accurately track and record project status under direction of the Project Manager.
  • Assist Project Managers with project closeout.
  • Issue PO’s, create packing slips & other project documentation at the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Accounts Payable Processing for the Projects Team.
  • Accounts Receivable Processing for the Projects Team.
  • Work order auditing and submit audits to Project Manager for approval.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

 

Required

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree
  • One year experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background screen
  • Experience and knowledge in lighting /electrical/ construction a plus!
  • Thrive and adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Maintain a strong ability to manage and complete projects under tight deadlines.
  • Possess professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Maintain an ability to see the larger picture.
  • Retain a positive attitude with open, respectful communication.

  • Possess high organizational skills
  • Be able to delegate, monitor, and adjust action items
  • Proficient in Google Gmail. Google Apps, & Google Earth
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in PDF creation and manipulation software (Bluebeam, Adobe)
  • Familiarity with financial software
  • Familiarity with cloud-based tracking software platforms

Pay Range

USD $55,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr.
