Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technology Lead Technician III to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead and supervise crews responsible for the installation and repair of technology systems, including structured cabling systems, fiber optics, audiovisual, and electronic safety and systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful and timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of technology field operations, including planning, and execution of projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Superintendents and Project Managers to develop project scopes, estimate costs, and ensure resource availability.
  • Crew Management: Lead and mentor a team of skilled technicians, providing clear instructions, guidance, and support.
  • Installation Excellence: Direct the installation of a wide range of technology systems, including structured cabling, fiber optics, equipment room build-outs, audiovisual equipment and ESS.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and document work progress, ensuring adherence to project specifications, industry best practices, and safety regulations.
  • Safety Compliance: Always prioritize safety, conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring all team members are properly trained and equipped.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, time sheets, and service requests.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proven experience as a Foreman or Lead Technician in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of technology systems and installation processes
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic
